Week 12
This was meant to be the final week but we still haven't finished shooting so we had to do some extra filming after lesson today but still are missing our last scene and we wont be able to continue until after half term which is not a good thing at all. So far I've done all of the editing.
Week 11
This week was meant to be our last day to shoot before editing everything but most of the actors didn't turn up so we had to work with what we had which was near to impossible. We got clips for our flashback and other little things but nothing big. Everyone came to lesson in our group.
Week 10
We are very far behind so we need to work much faster. Today we did some more shooting and I started on the editing and got 2 scenes done. Sam and Jade both attended class and we got the presentation done.
Week 9
Week nine, Jade couldn't stay so we had to film during the day which wasn't very successful considering only 3 of the actors turned up. Sam didn't come for the shooting. We didn't get anything done... anything constructive anyway.
Week 8
This week, the actors turned up late so we only had an hour to film anything, Sam had to leave and Jade had to rush off after 30 minutes. We filmed a few interview scenes but the camera died and we couldn't get another battery because the equipment room was shut. So we were cut short again.
Week 7
This week we would have been doing our presentation but because we were set back majorly the week before we had to film more this week. (Because Tony wasn't in our group anymore, I took on the responsibility of being camera man and we were all meant to do editing together. We only filmed the cafe scene but it didn't come out as we wanted it because once again, we were only allowed a certain amount of time.
Week 6
We were meant to go to Soho to film the murder scene but Sam told us he had to do shopping for his nan meaning we would have to borrow a camera from college because we wouldn't have Sam's camera. I had to go and speak to Briony to get a camera out but she then told me she didn't feel like it was safe for us to record in Soho. So after a week of notice, 30 minutes before, we were told we couldn't film outside (even though others were allowed). This completely set us back because whereas we would have been able to film as long as we wanted to in Soho, we were only allowed to film for an hour because we weren't allowed to film without Livia being in the college. We were only able to film the murder scene.
Week 5
This week we spent our time finishing any paperwork and then once the actors finished their class we went to the television studio and started rehearsing. We didn't do anything after that.
Tony didn't turn up again and I informed him that he has to come in the following week to film in Soho.
I went home and had to call the police station near Soho, to arrange to film the murder scene because we were told if we didn't call them and a member of the public saw us filming a murder scene, they could call the police and that could instantly get us all arrested for suspicion. They agreed to allow us to do it and I spoke to Briony the following day to inform her on what was happening.
Tony didn't turn up again so we knew he was unreliable and we had to kick him out of the group.

Week 4
Because we didn't have the actors today, We just caught up with some paperwork for the film noir.
Tony came to class today with his camera even though I told him we were not filming anything yet. I told him we would be doing a rehearsal the following week with the actors.
Week 3
This week we spoke about actors I had found from college in level 3 performing arts:
-Taj-Levi
-Harris
-Shaquan
-Haleemat
-Mayda
-Paige
-Rebecca
We then went over the script I had began to produce.
We had a meeting with the actors to just generally speak about what we were looking for, what roles they were going to play and giving them the draft of our script.
We told them we would give them the final copy of the script the following monday so we could have a rehearsal the following week.
They told us they had a performance on the thursday meaning we couldn't rehearse, which set us back by a week.
Tony once again, never turned up to class which shows just how unreliable he could be.
I contacted him and explained what happened this week and told him he needs to step up because he hasn't done anything.

Week 2
This week Jade, Samuel and I spoke about the storyline of our film noir and started thinking about the characters. We finally figured out the plot and the characters and then made a group chat on Facebook to be able to communicate with each other.
Tony didn't turn up to class so we just added him to the chat and notified him on what happened during that lesson.
We decided to work on certain things alone:
I was made to start on the script and find actors.
Jade was made to work with me on the storyline and think about camera angles.
Samuel was made to find location and and costumes.
